The land, once farmed by less than 40 landowners, was by vote of those owners in 1939, placed in an irrigation district as a means to collect funds to reconstruct and thereafter operate the previous dam once owned and operated by the Fruitgrowers Ditch and Reservoir Company.

The OCID water rental website is under construction. It will be available to those seeking OCID water for use on land within the irrigation district and those owning land within OCID wish to rent water associated with that land to another OCID landowner.

2025 Irrigation Season Agreements
Please submit now any Water Leasing Agreements and/or Group Water Ordering Agreements for the 2025 Irrigation Season. Please submit them as soon as possible so that we can process them and have them ready to go without delay when water starts.
