Tasks Previously Completed

• The following submittals were approved last week:
  • 35 22 16-1 Product Data for Fresno Slide Gate
    • Additional information on stem extension, stem supports, and operation pedestal forthcoming
    • Product data for gearbox and actuators forthcoming
  • 03 20 00-1 Concrete Reinforcing Revised
  • OCID selected colors for roof panels (taupe) and Versetta Stone (ledgestone terra rosa).
• Submittals awaiting approval: 
  • 22 13 19-1 Ventilation System (sent 12/12)

Work Completed

• November Pay App submitted on 12/4
• Installed 9” bolts at downstream flanges
• Sandblasting cleanup completed.
• Completed spool installation.
• Located waterline for installation of new electrical power poles.
• Water samples submitted to Kephart & Co. for testing on 11/17 and 11/21.
  • Results from 11/17 sample are as follows:
    • pH 7.77 (acceptable range is 6.5-9)
    • Total suspended solids 1440 mg/l (acceptable range is 30-45 mg/l). Over limit due to muck/ silt material. Will submit explanation with NetDMR.
  • Results from 11/21 sample forthcoming. Will include uranium, solids (total dissolved), pH, solids (total suspended), arsenic, iron (total recoverable), iron (dissolved), manganese, selenium.
    • We expect total suspended and total dissolved solids to be over limit due to muck/silt material. Expecting all other results to be within normal ranges.
• Project cost modifications submitted on 12/13 for additional work and/or change in scope.
• Updated project schedule submitted on 12/13.

Installation of Remaining Hardware @ Complete Pipe Section.

2 Week Look Ahead: 

• Order approved Fresno slide gate.
• Rebar for slab expected to be completed by Thursday 12/14.
• Primer/paint due to be in on Thursday 12/14.
• Primer & Paint installed either 12/15 and 12/19.
• Dremel cleanup on underside of pipe before primer & paint application.
• Schedule with Applegate/Bureau for week of 12/18 to exercise valves.
• Schedule with DMEA for installation of power poles once 299 is completed.
• Grading, compaction, formwork, installation of structural reinforcement and placement of concrete for building slab expected to completed before 12/22.
• Doughty Steel sent materials to be galvanized. Expect completion by sometime next week.
• High Country Manufacturing to continue fabrication of machine components.
