• Parts lists received: 
  • Gate house, shaft & gate chamber layout (270-417-256)

Work Completed

• Placement of concrete for building slab on 12/21. 
• Picked up materials for ventilation system from Bolinger & Queen on 12/20. Placed vent pipe section shaft approxi-mately 10’. 
• Submitted NetDMR report on 12/28. Dewatering permit terminated. 
• Picked up primer/paint on 12/20. Dremel cleanup on underside of pipe before primer & paint application. Applied two coats of primer before applying final top coat on 12/29.
• Due to the amount of material within the pipe and at the inlet/outlet sections of the pipe, opted to wait to exercise valves. KGCI will get with Southwestern Systems to get a quote on removing material from stilling basin next week. 
• Bryan met with Niles and Jeff concerning cleaning out the pond at Dairy. Submit quote by end of this week.

2 Week Look Ahead: 

• Order approved Fresno slide gate (awaiting approval for submittal sent 1/2). 
• Submit December billing today (1/3/24) 
• Submit updated schedule by the end of this week. 
• Order actuators (awaiting information from B&Q for Bettis manufacturer). 
• Spoke with Shelby Bear and Phil Sanchez from DMEA re: installation of power poles. DMEA is going to verify staking hopefully by the end of day to day. Once verified, they will let us know when they anticipate being onsite. 
• Begin erection of equipment building. 
• Doughty Steel fab galvanization completed; ready for pickup _1/9/24______. High Country Manufacturing to continue fabrication of machine components.

12/21/23—Double mat of rebar and placement of concrete

12/21/23—Concrete placement w/ light broom finish

12/28/23—Sanding second coat of primer at existing pipe section

12/29/23—Placement of final paint coating
