Work Completed
- Jumbo irrigation vault for Circle Ditch Gate delivered. Procured 3” galvanized post for NEMA box to be set attached to.
- Watch Technologies shop drawings for Circle Ditch Gate and integrated WT-200 actuator approved. Spoke with Bolinger & Queen to explain why Fresno is the best option for this project. Will get cleared up today.
- Completed wall framing and sheathing of structure.
- DMEA installed power poles. Starting to run lines.
- Confirmed new equipment enclosure for Circle Ditch Gate (24”x24”x10”) with Applegate and White Star.
- Started setting platform in shaft.
- Reached out to JMC Instruments re: fabricating adaptor plates and voltage of motorized actuators. Not able to fabricate the actuator plate. Will send information to Doughty today to get the plates fabricated
2 Week Look Ahead
- Will meet with High Country Manufacturing today to discuss measurements for drive shaft for Rotork IQS12 actuators.
- Order Watch Technologies Circle Ditch Gate and integrated WT-200 actuator today.
- DMEA will finish running powerlines.
- Once voltage is confirmed, will order Rotork IQS12 motorized actuators from JMC Instruments. Expected lead time: one week to ship. Will get w/ Whitestar Electric on breaker if it needs changed.
- Building anticipated to be set tomorrow and dried in by early next week. Set TJI’s, place roof sheathing and ice and water shield. Whitestar Electric will be onsite early next week to start rough-in.
- Continue to install fabricated materials, hardware and accessories.
- Schedule Southwest Systems to hydrovac ~20CY of material from the stilling basin structure. Kevin hasn’t got back with me yet but I will try again today and hope to schedule for middle of next week.
- High Country Manufacturing to continue fabrication of machine components.
- We will complete Wick Pond cleanout next week as well.
- Start installation of building finishes on interior and exterior.
January 21, 2024 — Structure ready to be mobilized on.
January 21, 2024 — DMEA onsite to set remaining poles.
January 23, 2024 — Setting the platform in the shaft.
